    M-14 Bolt question

Hello, Haven't been on the forum for a very long time but need some help identifying an M-14 Bolt. Rummaging around in the shop I found an M-14 Bolt with these markings:

    7790186 (Drawing number?)

    HRT A16

    BJV

Could some one ID this thing for me and give me a value? Shows VERY little finish wear and is complete, not a stripped bolt.

    Thanks!

Can't ID the bolt, but there's no dash in M14icon or M1

Thanks RCS for the help IDing this bolt, any guess as to value? I know some bolts can get pretty pricey or work that be true for only certain manufacturers?

    M14 bolt drawing numbers

The later M14icon with the drawing number 7790186 is the bolt with the roller on the lug.

The early M14 bolt with the drawing number 7790185 is without the roller installed

You have to check around the M14icon forum or the CMPicon forum for prices, complete NOS bolt could be over $250 maybe over $300 depending on the manufacturer, just a excellent condition bolt without any parts could sell for $200

wow thats expensive these days. back in the day when I bought a USAicon made roller bolt (complete) to replace in my Chinese M14 (M1A), it was only about $40. Times are getting expensive these days.
Wonder what an operating rod must cost today? (non rewelded)

I would say complete M14icon bolts with correct parts and little wear are going for $350 +. I have seen some TRW and Winchester ones for over $400 and selling. Used bolts in usable condition without internals seem to go for $275-325. Check the M14 forum to get a better idea of costs and prices. (M14forum.com)
