Anybody use the heavy weight Under armour or the sets Carbelas sells?

With last winter fresh in my thoughts I'm gonna spring for a good base layer set. I spend about 1/2 my work day out of the cab of the truck and long johns didn't cut it. My question is, does anybody use these expensive newfangled underwears and do they keep your arse warm? If so, what brand works best for you.
I can't bundle up too much, I gotta drive.....

If a second hand recomendation means anything I had a friend bragging about the Underarmor while browsing the Cabelas catalog yesterday.

I had some underarmor long underwear when I lived in NY and MA. I would go hiking a lot and it made a big difference. Can't say how it would work when you're not moving around much though. It seems pretty thin, it's not "fleecy" or anything so at first I didn't expect it to do much, but I actually sometimes found myself getting too hot. Again, I was hiking, but it worked well for me.

Thanks for the input fellas. I'm thinking Underarmor 4.0 it's the "heavy" grade because all I do is stand there,,,in the COLD monitoring product transfer from the tanker which is a Cryogenic liquid,,talk about cold!!!

hi underarmor is good base layer for anymovemnet especaily from inside warm cab to out in extrem cold. not to bulky.
now if your out side all day then i would go with wool base

I have been happy with the army surplus polypropoline. A bit bulkey but warm.

I have an under armor shirt. I can't figure it out. It is very thin and if you go outside with just the shirt on you'll freeze. It's like there's nothing there. If I have layers on top of it it does seem to keep me warm. Very weird feeling having it on and while I've worn it for two deer seasons now, still not sure exactly what it does.

Maybe you have the light weight? I'm finding there are several different weights apparently 4.0 is the heavy weight.
