ConD II* Question
When my 1892 Sparkbrook MLM was converted to Cond II in 1905 would they have used the original foreword and reshaped it to have the 'bulge' just aft of the sling swivel band instead of the bevel that the original forend would have had? Also, would the barrel tension ring have been installed under the band at that time? I think the answer is yes but i'd just like to confirm before proceeding.
Thanks
Roy

They did convert forends but no doubt some would have been replaced with new forends.
