    Trials No4(T) No32 Mk1 Houghton-Butcher Scope

I recently posted the following on Angels scope/rifle matching service:

'I have a '33 dated trials rifle with the following scope numbers on the wrist:
    1829 (barred out)
    3273
It would be great if anybody could help trace either of these scopes'

While I didn't hold out much hope in finding 1829 (being barred out says to me that it was replaced in service because of damage or similar) Peter Laidlericon kindly confirmed that he serviced 3273 way back in 1984.
I know this is a long time ago, and maybe a long shot - but if there is the slightest chance of re-uniting 3273 (a Houghton-Butcher Mk1) with my rifle I would be very interested to hear from the present owner.

I hope the forum moderators don't mind me re-posting here

My trials rifle has 3193 on the wrist. It's missing too.
