I finally present my own "Garand picture of the day".
After much searching and much waiting here she is my first Garand. SA 5910000 range.
Very happy Mostly SA including bolt & barrel some HRA internals. SA/ J.L.G marked stock
which I believe could be no later than 1953 with reciever being 1956/ 57 production.
I waited too long to get a Garand only now I have to have a WWII production rifle.

Here is the first one I ordered some five months ago that finally shipped. HRA 5600000 range HRA trigger group housing,10-55 HRA barrel ,HRA op rod,SA bolt.Very nice finnish on the metal parts.The stock Has the circle P (double struck) and a very faint late eagle stamp with a few dings. These things are magnificently engineered and built. What are the odds of swapping the SA for an HRA bolt without encountering headspace issues?
Would I encounter any issues swapping internal SA/HRA/WRA parts between the two rifles?

For the most part, things can be changed around without issue. You should check headspace after changing a bolt, it'll probably be within spec though.

Santa came early. June 1943 SA with June 43 barrel TE 2 ME 1.Many correct parts including bolt,trigger housing,trigger guard & saftey.Mismatch on hammer & op rod .Nice matching finish on most parts save the gas cylinder.Any thoughts on the stock markings ,gas cylinder, and markings on the underside of the reciever? Look like it may be a canadate for installation of matching parts?

Why not see how it shoots first? It may shoot little ratholes and you'll want to clean and leave it...
