Having shot both of the .380/200 chambered British
built revolvers a bit, I much prefer the Enfield. The Webley seems unrefined and harder with which to achieve good hits, esp. when firing using DA/trigger cocking.
ETA: It just occurred to me that I've had one Enfield revolver 30 years now! Probably 25 for another. Probably less than 2 years for the most recent. Welcome to old codgerdom...

One important difference between the Webley and the Enfield is the fact that to remove the cylinder in order to clean the pistol you just need to back-off the cam lever screw on the right side a turn (using a coin in the wide slot) to release the cam lever. On the others, you need to remove the screw fully. While that might sound trivial, it is. It is, that is, until you have to remove it in a muddy dug-out with cold hands during a lull in fighting. And when you drop it, it ain't so trivial after all!

If I remember correctly, there was a contract for the No2 in 1962 complete with UE62 A prefix.

1962.................... Tell me you're kidding BP! The UExxAxxxxx serial numbers were a UK MoD specification and we didn't want any more surely! They used to call it Enfields smallest product - but biggest headache!
