    Possible Vietnamese flare pistol???

Continuing my love of ugly weird guns, I found this handmade cutie this weekend. 8.5 inch barrel that looks to take a flare cartridge about 12 ga. size. Construction and weathering is typical of guns I have seen from Vietnam. Quality is inferior to guns made in Afghanistan / Dara. I have found no references to help me sort it out. The clip is .303 Britishicon for size comparison. Might be Philippines manufacture. Comments appreciated.

I don't think it is meant to be a flare pistol. Looks like they wanted to make a 12 ga. pistol. It has sights and they would have used an other caliber.

Not sure I'd want to fire their 12 ga pistol though...try Federal Hi-Shok buckshot for a handful.
