    SMLE / No4 Butt differences

Can you please help? I am looking for a good comparison picture or drawing showing the difference between the SMLE and the No4 Butts. Am I correct in thinking that No4 butts were fitted to SMLEs in FTR if nothing else was available?
Thanks and a happy Christmas to one and all.
    Robert

You are correct and we've discussed this several times here. I think I can find some pics here if I look...give us a minute...

Can't find the pics, but here's the gospel according to Reverend Laidlericon... Novice question: Difference between MK III and No.4 butt stocks I know you wanted pics, but I can't seem to find them.
