    Question No.4 Mk1*

I have what I believe is a Savage made No4 Mk1 which I bought when I was 14, many years ago. It has US PROPERTY stamped on it and the rear peep sight.

If I am incorrect you my by all means correct me.

It has a short fore stock and bare upper barrel. I would like to put an oriqinal stock back on it.

I see some No4 Mk1 stocks online. Would these fit this particular piece? There is a block S marked on the grip in the steel band.

    Thank you..
