Looks like he could've located a better bolt and internals, and maybe done something about the refinished look of the trigger housing.

Something that isn't widely known about very early Inland carbines. The proof punch mark on the bolt was farther back in the flat, or "lightening cut" area. At some point the location was standardized as "top center surface at a point 5/8" from front face of bolt." If you have a very early, original Inland carbine, take a look.

What price range should this Carbine be in after it has been looked at already. I know there some Value in it, but not worth the asking price after reading all that is wrong with it ?

Parts value of the real parts and the refinished parts. It's worth about what seller paid probably. Have not added up but early inlands are expensive parts stores.

Didn't know that until now. I have one of those early IO in a circle bolts but the punch is in the normal place we usually see them. So it would be correct for a five digitish Carbine.
