Peter: you probably don't want to let the world be more aware of your James Bond alias -- "Captain Mainwaring" (unless I'm mistaken, which is more often than I wish) -- Mainwaring is probably Ian Fleming's role model for "Q;" fighting the forces of evil with inventive contrivances. Informants have recently leaked: there were probably secret listening devices imbedded in those DP rifles, hoping the Ruskies would use them in Soviet Bloc countries where we could spy on the KGB :-).
