    Unique Destroyer Carbine-Need ifo

Back in the 80's a good friend of mine traded me a Destroyer Carbine in 9mm Largo that was missing it's magazine.
It took me until 2005 to find a magazine,in all places,Spain.
Since then I have tried to find who made this version of the carbine and when.
There are a couple of sites that list these carbines and show three types. Types 1 thru 3.
One is a three shot, the type two is always missing the magazine, has no barrel bands in the photo's and figure grooves and a strange front sight . And the very common type 3 using what almost looks to be a pistol magazine that extends down below the trigger guard.
My carbine has a very different stock compared to the Type 2 as well as two barrel bands.
The magazine I was able to find after 35 years holds six rounds.
If a round is in the chamber you can insert the loaded magazine giving you seven shots. It fits flush with the bottom of the trigger guard.
There is no butt plate with this model. The wood looks to be birch(?) or other light hard wood.
The bore of this carbine is perfect with sharp rifling and shiny grooves.
Slight handling marks in the stock.
I'm looking for any information on this carbine as I have not been able to find another carbine like mine or ever seen another. I'm hoping my Northern Brothers may have some facts.
Thank you for any info or leads.

We had scads of them come into Canadaicon many years ago. Some people removed the barrel and turned it off so they could use 9x19 in them. Mags were always a problem and I wondered if you could adapt a P38 mag? Maybe a High Power mag? Don't know where they all went to however, they seem to have disappeared.
    Regards, Jim
