    New Member!

My name is Patrick and I am a recent milsurp addict. My particular love is old mausers and cowboy era guns. I figured I might as well register and become a member since I visit this site pretty regularly.

Thanks for the opportunity to learn as much as I can.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Welcome. I have just recently gotten interested in cowboy era guns, reproductions for the most part, originals are pretty much out of my interest price wise. I picked up Colt Army, Remington Army blackpowder and Colt 1873 cartridge revolvers in the past three months. Liked the blackpowder ones so much figured I'd get a smokeless one to shoot and not worry so much about the mess and clean up. I've had a Walker blackpowder for 20 years or so.
