Woodleigh could use some competition on the MkVI 215gr. exposed tip bullets too!
Steadily growing interest in those in North America as people realize the older rifles were sighted for them, and that they're a deadly game round.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

Any chance these will be made available in Canada, too?

The HBCs? they ship them out of OZ directly and we have sellers here in NZ so I dont see why not for canada. Might be a business opportunity for you? if no one imports them into NZ in bulk then I might do so myself and on sell.

I'd certainly like to see them come into Canada as well. (HBC that is.)
Your suggestion has me thinking SSJ...We really need something like these.

I'd check with the local Fullbore Rifle Association, there's a fair chance they use HBC projectiles in 308 anyway.
Bob and Jan Dyer set up a fair export system when the first started to manufacture the BJD and HBC pills.

Interesting discussion and I wonder if there is that much benefit in having the original projectile produced. I shoot Sierra 174 gr. BT's and to be honest they seem to be very accurate so is there a significant difference in having the original projectile or is it people just think it works better?
I know that Lee Enfield's were designed for a flat base bullet however in my case the BT's seem more than acceptable.
Also wonder about the economics of making a flat base bullet, how many hundreds of thousands need to be purchased to make it worthwhile for anyone to manufacture them?
I await the verbal thrashing of my thoughts.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

I wonder if they are getting tooling from Corbin's to make the bullets. I had contacted Corbin's and had a price to get the equipment and dies when the attempt to get Sierra to make mk7 equivalent bullets fell through.
One concern I had with the design of the MK7 was if it would be consided an armor piercing bullet if it had an insert.

Only a politician or a journalist would consider aluminium or "fibre" to be "armour-piercing"
Level 3 armour, rolled homogenous plate, Chobham, laminated leather or traditional Japanese bamboo? What is the definition of armour?

Would love to see these in the states! .303 is hard to find here these days despite the large number of SMLEs here.

Has anyone looked at this book? It covers making spitzer bullets in detail. While it covers the .30 manufacture I don't think the .303 would be much different.
