A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... No date, last communication (Dec) I have is he still has not had the promised parts from the US. He is talking about making some boat tailed ones off existing molds in the mean time. Seems to mirror my bad experience with small firms in the US, they take your money quickly but then delay and delay. A 2~3week wait ended up 3+ months.

First post from me I think since registering, sorry for the poor form fellas.

Ssj, what's the situation now? I'm eyeing off SMLEs and No 4s on mulitple used gun sights and gunshop sights and these would be perfect. The SMKs are beyond ridiculous $$$wise and the Hornady fmj has climbed since I last looked at prices.

My Howa .308 varmint shot like stink at 600 yards with your 155 grain full bore bullet, needless to say I love your current product. You'd make heaps of Aussie and Kiwi .303 shooters and others all over the globe dance with joy if you can put out this MkVII copy! I'm sure 7.7 Jap shooters would be delighted too.

This is something that needs to happen!!

He is looking at making boattails with some existing equipment he will be converting as it seems he cant get the bits from the USAicon.

Ive talked to a few ppl I supply with projectiles and no one wants BTs, so I guess that is that.

Ah that's a shame, I hope you guys aren't out of pocket too much with the mob who were going to supply the tooling. Just for the record,I would still definitely buy BTs if they shot well (and I know many three-oh shooters love how the BT Sierras perform, just not their price tag lol).

    I'll be watching this space!
