1936 Greek Mauser long rifle in 7.65

Hello everyone, this is my first post in this forum. I would have joined earlier but I have always found the answers to my questions already posted. But now I have one that I just can't find the answer to. I have been looking into buying my first Mauser and I found one at a local shop that I am very interested in. It is a Greek Mauser with a full length 29" barrel. It looks very similar to a Germanicon G98. The receiver is stamped 1936 and it has a crown stamped on it similar to that of a FN M1930 Greek Mauser short rifle. The guy says it is chambered in 7.65 Argentineicon. I am going back tomorrow to check the serial numbers and take some pictures to post here, but in the mean time, does this sound like anything any of you know of, or could it just be a mismatched rifle?

As far as I know the only Mauser Greece ever adopted was the FN 1930. Turkeyicon however was using Mausers at the same time period and they used the 7.65x53 for a while so maybe one of those?

I would guess you are looking at a Turk M38 mauser.
