I have a Swede purpose built model 38 short rifle. It is a husky made 1942. It has an unusual stock disc that I can't figure out. It is not the typical disc with bore data. It is a brass disk of the same size with 4 brass nails holding it to the stock. On the disk is a large M above 28 and 3 crowns. The bullet trajectory plate is also attached differently. It is mounted sideways between the butt plate and the stock disk. The rifle is in really nice condition with matching numbers. Any one ever see this ? Does any one know what it means? Thanks in advance
