    I watched Vietnam in HD last nite. Showed a 5' 100lb ARVIN soldier let go 8 rounds from a Garandicon. His helmet ended up over his eyes and he almost ended up on his back.

    Two memories from those days -
    Wandering through Tan Son Nhut Air Base and seeing an ARVN Airborne School company marching down a roadway with M1icon Garands, Thompson SMGs and BARs slung over their shoulders. A mate of mine nicked a Thompson that day.
    The second, liaising with U.S 5th SFG and seeing their Hmong mercenaries with their issue M14s slung over their shoulders. Butt plate ground clearance was measured in cms.
