A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. It Worked !!! Is 2 fingers enough ?? I would want a VERY LARGE person to measure mine ! I have no knowledge of Booker's, sounds expensive. I use Old Forrester, decent stuff and not too expensive, just "use with caution" !!

    FWIW,

    Emri

P.S.- if I travel very far from the South, I can't even find it. Must take my own, or substitute!

I'll take a glass of Grey Goose any day with a drop of lime and tonic. Southern Comfort ruined me as to a taste for whiskey. So much for Janis Joplin. Didn't help her much. Anyone know where she is buried? It is a strange place for her.

Jim, Glad you made it. You've been conspicuous by your absence.

    Now, where's JB?

    Jim,
According to several sources, Janis Joplin was cremated and her ashes scattered in the Pacific Ocean, probably at Stinson Beach, CA. Ahhh, the memories of days past.
    Cheers, Don
