From the photo, it looks as if the blade has been shot blasted and so I would suggest that the bayonet has gone through a refurb. I have a similar bayonet but with a polished blued steel blade. The scabbard is different and is, perhaps, a more modern replacement.

The blade of the bayonet in my first post has a satin silver finish to the blade, from my research and looking at the site AK Bayonets 101 - The Four Basic Types this seems to be the standard original manufactured type finish on the AK47 bayonet blades?

Yours could be the standard finish. I was just comparing it with my example which may be unusual, for example, a dress bayonet for parade use.

Chinese SKS blade bayonets have the bead blasted finish too.

I've been racking my brain and I can't come up with an AK bayonet with a polished blued blade. Any chance of posting a photo?
