    1941 M1 Garand Rifles

Excellent and rare original rifle!!!! ~ That is great! There's something special about 1941 vintage M1icon Garand rifles. I've got a Jan 1941 receiver dated rifle in the 182K range. That one happens to be a wartime era rebuild with type 2 lockbar sight and later barrel.

Picture below was made at Springfield Armory during July 1941. The arsenal worker looks bored. Wonder if this guy pushed that cart from inspection to packing when it had your rifle on it?

Nice rifle and thanks for sharing. It is hard to tell from the pics; is the short pinion in the white or parkerized and is the flush nut blued or parkerized? Is there any evidence of a stamping on the top of the receiver ring?

    Thanks again!

Great rifle. I am looking at one for sale that doesn't hold a candle to yours. Thanks for the photos.
