WWII German Helmet Insignia Question

I have a now deceased relative who was stationed in Germany icon

at end of WWII, he was there for several years assisting in wrapping things up. He brought back a couple of helmets; the one pictured is coming my way. I’ve been trying to identify the insignia on its right side, the left side is unmarked. Does anyone have any information on the insignia? Thanks for the assist!

It will probably be the arm of the Wehrmacht - e.g. Kriegsmarine (Navy), Heere (Army), Luftwaffe (Air Force), etc.
