thanks for the info .... I got out my new an old lyman books and looked through then of the 4 powders I thought best for me were no 1 sr 7625 then imr4227 kind of weird sr7625 my work according to lyman in my guns but no listing to be used in 45-70 and may not be able to use im4227 in my 32 auto according to lyman ... but I guess I have to start some where and if sr 7625 is in supply not like unique I may try it ! thanks bill until I blow up a gun

Wish I could find 231 I haven't seen any for almost 5 years now. HP38 can be found and it's identical to 231

Saw some 231 at Cabela's in April. And didn't buy any, figuring there would be more coming (and had ~9 lbs at the time). Thinking that may have been a mistake....
