need infomation on lend lease m1 stock

Just bought small collection of m1 rifles. In this was a lend lease rifle, 321,8xx, 8-41sa barrel. Correct except for wood had been replaced with real nice wood. Also with these rifles were a few stocks and hand guards, which I purchased also. Long story short, after a lot of close inspection even with a loupe I am think the original wood is here. Correct stock for time, GHS, grooved clip on rear hand guard. Very, very small spots of red paint on the rear(next to lower band) of front guard and stock. Looks like they were sloppy with their painting, rear band has pink coloring on it and a couple of faint rings where it looks like the paint pooled and dried. A few very small drops got on other parts of wood.
I would bet good money on this being original wood except; the stock has a OG in a box and a P on the heel of stock, like it went through a rebuild facility. I have done a lot of research on these rifles and have never seen anything yet that would make me think these stamps should be there, but this is something I might have missed.
    Any information would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Richard

Mine had no re-build stamps and neither have I ever seen one like that. There was no reason for them to go through any US rebuild as they never came back into the US system. Once out, they were never back. That was the way with any lend lease as far as I know... The rest sounds right though. Rick Bicon should have some definitive info on that...a few others too...

Thanks Jim for your thoughts. This was my thinking also. But this wood patina on all three pcs. matches very well and this stock was only ww2 wood in collection. and with the paint, what is the odds? hopefully someone has ideas on this.
    thanks

No Lend Lease rifle should have Rebuild marks on it. The stock should have a Tapered Clip latch for starters, ferrule codes and a barrel channel code to put it in the GHS period. Long channel with that number would be correct also. Patina means nothing as you would not be able tot tell a 30 year old refinishing job against a original in most cases. I can match original patina with ease. No GHS marking then nothing to think about to be honest. Most people want the markings on the stock and will haggle price with it missing. Can you tell me which stocks in this room including the rack are original Patina??? Rick Bicon

"No Lend Lease rifle should have Rebuild marks on it." That was my thinking too. That's why I started this thread. Trying to figure out why its marked this way.
This stock is marked SA/GHS and CC stamp, although faint, it is readable. Tapered cut out for clip latch. Long channel SA stock, number 5 stamped in bottom of channel. Don't know what you mean by ferrule code, but stock ferrule is stamped with .180 hole in it.
    Thanks

Pics would be nice...I mean the whole gun and the wood we're talking about. My gun was SA 328219 and was the same time capsule most are. My stock had a number 4 in it...no red paint remained.
