I am looking at letting go 2 rifles I have had stored for a while, so that I can get back into my main focus of collecting (Britishicon and Finnishicon WW1 and WW2 firearms). I have a 1944 M44 and a 1943 M38, both made at Izhevsk, both bog-standard typical recent imports in the usual condition, both with pretty good bores that have been counterbored. The M38 is in an M44 stock. Serial numbers match, as least from the time of the refurbishment. I have no idea of their value to a buyer in the US at this time. My research on Gunbroker and other places was all over the place. Any idea of a reasonable price for either rifle?
