    Hi lyon13. Welcome to the forum!

    It's an incomplete American Model M1icon Helmet liner 1966 through the 80's. Jim is correct in that with the condition, period, etc., it is very common and it has no collector value. I think it's a perfect candidate to make anything you might want from it without destroying history. Hope this helps. ~ Harlan
