Hi Martin! How the heck are you? To answer your question: Not yet, I want to keep it and haven't been able to find such a tiny replacement bead anywhere. I'm hesitant to open it up for a big one because it just won't be right but it might be my only recourse eventually. My own projects are back burnered. It's all I can do to keep up with everyone else's stuff around here. Brian

This is my deluxe version and also has the Shotgun Safety as well.
Hard to sell here in the UK because of the 23" barrel

I take it you can't silver solder an extension on to make it legal?

I need to drill and clean out the hole. It's possible a 3-56 thread may work. I have some brass shotgun beads that measure .067 with the 3-56 thread which may work if I chase the thread with a tap first.

just after reading this, and having never heard of these before, I went and checked on Gunbroker and Lo and behold found one of these for sale - safety is snapped but otherwise functional. I resisted posting in case others got the same idea, but having jts won, I'm looking forward to having a new Enfield related squirrel gun in a couple of weeks.

Next question of course is where I'd get a safety mechanism for it.
