    Aussie flavored 1917 BSA.

Picked this old girl up today..started life as a 1917 BSA No1, then ended up in Australiaicon at some point. FTR marked, I believe in 1951. Barrel is dated 1951 as well. The history behind this piece must be incredible..WW1, WW2, probably Korea. Enjoy the pics!

Think pooled Ordnance stores in the North African campaign. Large part of the Australianicon Forces return to Oz taking their equipment with them including small arms to defend Aust from Japaneseicon. Your rifle goes with them and is taken into Aust Military ownership............
