    160gn 303

Stumbled across this drawing the other day on a related search on headstamps rather interesting as I did not know they made a 160gn but we all learn each day. It has all the attributes internally as its heavier bretheren and is of .312"dia, open base, aluminium insert in nose, think the ogive is 2.5r even gives the dimension for the meplat .055 and so on.
You can blow the pic up but to high and you lose the detail with pixation someone with beter comp skills may be able to blow it up and keep the clarity.

Anyway thought I would share this as some have asked in the past for drawings on projectiles and their dimension's so here's one. Any clues as to its service theater/period was it for aircraft just a few questions! TIA

That's the original MkVII load, March 1910. One batch manufactured that failed accuracy proof, manufacture suspended and design then lapsed.
