    1903 Propper Accessories

Got a 1903, built in 1919. Has a 42 barrel and what I believe is an A3 stock. Looking to get a sling and butt stock cleaning kit. I am guessing with all the mixed part, it really doesn't much matter if the sling is leather or cloth or if the cleaning kit is nickel or plastic. It won't hurt the value will it?

Not really ... A leather sling would be appropriate. Nickeled cleaning kits can still be had for the $25-35 range.

plus stripper clips and muzzle cover.

then it will be bandoliers and tins/cases.

    it's a slippery slope.

Thanks Rick. Any suggestions on where to get the sling, I fond one from Word War Supply (M1907 LEATHER RIFLE SLING M1icon GARAND SPRINGFIELD Premium Drum Dyed Leather) looks good.
