Information on Frenchicon stuff seems to be in very short supply. I've been looking for a good book in French rifles and bayonets for years with no luck.

I'm sure that that word POINCONS will feature in the Daily Telegraph crossword in the near future. And when it does, I'll be ready!

The guy on this site has collected an impressive number of inspectors' marks from Frenchicon arsenals:
    http://www.pistol3d.com/poincons/poincons_start.html

And if you want to get into serious detail, you need this book
    http://www.amazon.fr/Armes-blanches-.../dp/2865510417

So you have to shell out some cash and read French? Is that a problem if you really, really want to know? Just don't hold your breath waiting for information in English!
