    Beaumont vitali question.

I have a Dutch Beaumont Vitali. It has t6 marked on the bolt and reciever. Does anyone know about this marking? Was told this was a test subject. Don't know about that though. Serial number is 4458 and has a date of 1878 on it. Butt plate is also 4458 with a 1889 date on it. Thanks for any help on this issue.

It's just a prefix letter. I have two, one has an R, the other a Z.
