I have owned 3 of these now, and they are a gem. But I'm not so sure they are a $7500 gem. Especially since they were listed on a RCMP list of guns of concern.

I bought my L2A3 as a converted auto back in '95 for $800...I'd not even consider that price...

Considering the last couple I saw for sale in Canadaicon sold around the 5k mark, I wouldn't pay the 7.5k personally.

The guy that did that did it as a joke to see what someone would pay for one. The first one he sold was $3500 and he sold it in 5 minutes. So he decided to see if anyone was foolish enough to pay $5000 for his last one. Sure enough some retard paid $5000 for it, now everyone thinks that they are now worth $5000.

The selector is pinned to only allow S/R positioning. The trigger mech lock pin is welded in place. Because I couldn't disassemble it to look at the whole affair, I'm not sure if they did something to the sear and trigger as well. The pistol grip screw was also tacked at the head so you couldn't put an Allen into it to remove it. I could perhaps have stripped them and welded them back in but it would have been a moot point. That was back in the mid '90s too, it's been a while. It was a nice gun though. You remember I'm sure. I always liked the UKicon trigger better, it was curved like they should be.
