    Cartridge ID's please

    Have 2 one is a 303 with A /i\ F VII 7 24 with nickle projectile
other is a bit tricky looks like a 30/06 but has nickle RN projie S H and 3 15 but the primer has 4 indent stabs like the Arisakaicon ammo, but arisaka ammo is not stamped just blank based. I know the date stamps and the VII designation but the A F and the H S have me stumped any help provided is always much appreciated by me and I thank those in advance that offer identification to them.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. A↑F is Footscray, dates go from 1 24 through to 4 26, from there it's MF.

7 24 is a very scarce date by the way, Ive been at it for over 25 years and still don't have one.

    Question

Methinks that your 30/06 look a like may actually be its predicessor - the 30/03.

Rem UMC used SH on the headstamp, denoting Solid Head. There is also a Germanicon 7.92mm with maker SH.

Is it SH or HS you mention both in your post CINDERS.

Putting the date up the top it reads clockwise 3 15 then going to the bottom the H is at 8 o'clock and the S at 4 o'clock thanks chaps.
Cheers Mike'67 it is one of those rounds that just crept in from goodness knows where as when people know you collect and are licensed for them they are only too happy to offload orphans that grandpa brought back or found!
    P.S sorry on the typo
