Something Kind of Neat at Numrich

I needed a part for one of my rifles and during the ordering process/checkout, this item popped up and I thought it looked neat and was a cool piece of history so why not. Britishicon WWII wire cutters. They have them for $9.95 with attached lanyard and $7.95 without the lanyard. Figured I'd splurge and get the lanyard.

Got this much larger box than expected today that was heavy also and had no idea what it was. The photo gives the impression these are small like pliers. They aren't. Folded up they are 10 inches long.

They are pretty cool. Dated 1942 and with several broad arrow stamps, one with a D on each side and the other with a 118 underneath. Made by Sunshine. Broad arrow with 118 looks like it was applied later.

So they are at Numrich, part number 1139310, Folding wire cutters w/ lanyard Rope.

Folding Wire Cutters w/ Lanyard Rope, British WWII, Marked & Dated, Good to VG Gun Parts | 1139310 | Numrich Gun Parts

Rope may not be worth the $2, up to you.

Thanks. I was going to order a shotgun part this week . Those will make the shipping less painful on a $3 part. Sportsmans Guide had them a while back but I waited to long.

LOL, that's what I felt on a $5 part. And you know what, they sent the snips in their own box and I still didn't get the tiny $5 part.
