I've mentioned a 1200 Heat Shield to them before, but they are more than busy enough keeping up with existing products.
Additionally, to recreate the 1200 Barrel Clamp Assembly barrel protrusion limiting "Lip" would require them to acquire a new forging - expensive.
FYI, an original 1200 Heat Shield for sale on the bidding sites, depending on condition and how many bidders, could bring $300.00 - $450.00 these days.

Looks pretty good so far. Now for a matt finish...and wood work.

Step 2 shellac removed RLO applied, matt finish applied to barrel & shroud (Dura coat). Need a butt plate and 03A3 rear swivel for sure. Seeking a correct late production 1960s 1917 bayonet. Not sure about coating the receiver.

It's looking better now...yes, I'd think about doing the receiver too.

The citristrip & RLO made a world of diffrence on the lumber. The Sarco shroud is a quality piece BTW. I have seen some that have a blued reciever but my research indicates they should have a matt finish. Probably will Duracoat the reciever as well as it now is the only part with apparent wear. I suppose Ill need a new M-14 sling as well. One thing leads to another.

The correct bayonets are around, not as easy to find around here as the earlier ones though.

Here is one on gunbroker that is all but identical with military markings. I think some of these were procured stateside from commercial sources as I have seen a few with more commercial finish & features.
Here is the caption.
