    Police trade-in 870 refinish.

Picked up one of the department trade-ins that where on the market a few months back as a kick around. No clue where it served. Added an OEM extended magazine and recoil pad. That was all I was going to do,,,,,,but I got bored.
Before. Can't tell from the pics but it had deep scratches and pitting. The stock was trashed as well.

After some draw filing, 220 grit to 320 grit sanding of the barrel, receiver and magazine, couldn't get rid of all of it, but it's ok.
Rust blued the parts with my homemade equipment. The humidity box is the plywood box in the background. Finished the stock off with BLOicon only, no stain.

Now for a heat shield and bayonet mount, then I think I'm in business.
On the bench now is my sons 94 Winchester he got in a trade. Poor thing.
