I searched the Archives for clues but did not find anything. That doesn't mean it's not there, the archives are a nightmare to search, it's all on paper with no computer search ability

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. The M1D Tooele conversions article was fascinating as I had just traded my CMP icon

M1D Tooele 6-69 (June 1969) to one of my target shooting buddies. For some reason, my wife was partial to the article on the Garand icon

in Canadiam Service because I had written it. Bob Seijas icon

is great to work with and if you have any ideas for articles you could write, then I suggest that you talk to him.
