    William Evans One Piece Mount

Seeing those pictures of Rogers collection of WWI Snipers reminded me that I had some pics tucked away on a hard drive somewhere from a trip to the IWM many years ago. Anyway after a bit of digging here they are, hope you like them.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

Thanks Simon. I went down to see it with Dave T in the 1980's & digital cameras didn't exist then! I still have a few prints somewhere, but your photo's are the best I've seen of this particular rifle.

I like it that they left a small cutout for the rear volley sight to stay in place . What material is it made of? It looks like aluminum or zinc.

It's a long, long time since I handled it, but I'm pretty sure it's made from aluminium. Correct me if my memory is faulty, someone.
