You need a set of Zrak bases and rings (they are sorta EAW knock-offs with a different latching system). The Scope should be an ON-M76B yugoslavian sniper scope.

You can get both the rings and scope you need from P&A Distributing in the US.

The only place I have seen ONM76B scopes are on the issue M76 AK sniper in 7.92x57. But you can buy anything anywhere. Except Zrak scope for SKS M59 Gary,... owner of M76.

    Hi

I have wanted to build a M48 sniper as well.
I built a very very nice rifle from bits, and it shoots very very well.
    The nicest mauser I have, and I have 9 others 4x G98s, 1908, K98icon, another M48, an 08/36 in bits and a modern hunting 98.

I have fitted original Krak mounts, and a LS 6X42 N, Zrak hunting scope,
I contacted Zark who said .......

Yes the N and ON versions were used.

    Hi David
Yes. This scope was originally made for hunting but back in 90's due to limited or no supply of any weapons or ammunition this was used (very effectively) through whole war.
    Sasha

I hope this is of interest to you all.

    David
