    lee efield butt disc

    gday all,
    I have a butt disc that came of a british marked walnut stock.
    the butt plate was british at least.
    I have searched and searched for the meanings ,hopefully someone here can help.

    1SD is RAAF 1 stores depot Melbourne various sights during WW2.
    based at Tottenham , Victoria ,Australiaicon after the war.

    mystery solved and no need to call the hardy boys
