I obviously need to do some more filing on the repro butt, you got it right. Its a WWA repro and I'm more than happy with it, I just did some finishing on the edges but I think i'll do a little more to make it look pressed.

The bottom one is a rare one, its a Unique and Unity No.2 Mk2 made from No.2 Mk1 parts. The abutment plate is a one piece cast item that has had the bottom boss ground off leaving the single boss for the single tube of the No.2 Mk2 butt. I've a feeling that U&U were making both the Mk1 and Mk2 butt at the same time as I have had Mk1 butts with the U&U marking and others with their wartime code. This Mk2 butt has their U&U marking, it is fitted to a Mk3 gun that I picked up from a batch a few years ago. Quite a few in the batch had no Brit Mods (Like the Mk5 safety handle and hole in the rib for the sling) and had these Mk1/2 butts, I've not seen another since and I've checked every butt I've seen (That's sounds so wrong).
