First Springfield '03
Of the many milsurp rifles and handguns I've owned, I've never been able to score a decent '03 that didn't cost me a small fortune. Today I found one that I think was worth the money. Serial puts the receiver at 1930, and a barrel date of February 1944. Being an Enfield nut, I don't have a whole lot of exposure or experience with the legendary '03. I also have a cartouche of 'AAB' on the stock that I cannot find any info on, other than 'AA' is Augusta Arsenal. Have a look at her, and tell me what you can! Thanks!

A very nice example of a typical overhauled M1903. The AAB is indeed Augusta Arsenal, probably WWII. There is no information on who the "B" might have been.
