    Bolt Head Rotation

Given the spec of 4.76mm for bolt head over rotation, mine measures out to 4.50mm. Is this something to be concerned with? If so...how do I correct this to bring it back up to the locking lug? The bolt head is a "1" measures out to 0.633" It does close on a 0.70" gauge, but, does not close on a 0.74" gauge.

    TIA, Nathan

EXACTLY as Muffer says. That is absolutely perfect. Stop worrying. And while we're here, who told you about this so called overturn figure. And another thing. Get rid of that .070" gauge. It is alien to any other weapon except the Vickers and the only reason we had it on that was because........ Look, bin that gauge!

Thanks for the replys I read about the overturn figure here in the "Technical Articlesicon/Research for Milsurp Collectors and Re-loaders" section....In the "1991 No.4 (All Marks) .303 Rifle Maintenance Instructions". It states: "Check the bolt head to ensure it does not overturn by more than 20 degrees when assembled to the bolt. The 20 degrees may be measured as 4.76mm (3/16”) from the left corner of the bolt head lug to the left corner of the bolt column."

That's why I asked in the OP. But if you say it's good to go...AWESOME, 1 less thing.
