that was my first impression but the Ludendorf bridge super structure had only an arched span in the center section not on the ends

That's what drew me to think it was Remagen, and the flak towers at right. I was only past there once and that was at high speed by train...
Apparently it's the bridge across to Braunau, Hitler's birthplace. There's a bit of a story written by Paul Stoebel... THE BRIDGE AT BRAUNAU AM IN

The bridges usually are blown on withdrawal to keep the enemy from following at speed.
