Ishapore 2A question . Help needed

Hey all . I have a 1965 Ishapore 2A , that is having a mag , and a feed issue . I have two other Enfields but in 303 . I would very much like to communicate with a fellow Ishapore owner in the Toronto GTA to Barrie area .
My questions are about mag fitment , and feeding issues . I would like to view another 2A and compare to mine by seeing the action thru the bottom from mag port .
I would also like to communicate thru message or e mail in order to protect each others privacy . IE I don't want to share addresses , info , etc over the site .
I know it sounds like an odd request , but I need to talk to another actual Ishapore owner , not just somebody that says Oh Yea I can fix anything .
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and if necessary I could supply a small donation to your ammo fund . Thank You .. NoBush

I'm not in the Toronto area but have plenty of experience with the venerable RFI 2A/2A1 caliber 7.62 rifle. I like to think of it as the proverbial "Barney Fife " rifle. Here's your rifle and here's one cartridge, please keep it in your pocket!

You can tweak the feed lips on the magazine to get it to feed properly. Make sure the extractor spring is strong as they never really had a good system of ejection to start with.

I think you've created an obstacle for yourself here. There's tons of LE owners, the IS rifles are just one of them. Now you've snubbed all of the forum...I too think it may be magazine lips issues. But what do I know?
    Regards, Jim

Yes there are lots of Enfield owners on this site . That is why the questions are posted here . But I,m specifically wanting to view a 2A to compare to my own that is having a problem . I,m having a mag issue and a feed issue . That question shouldn't offend owners of other styles of Enfields . How would it ?? This forum is full of questions regaurding certain years and models / editions of Enfields . Mine is only one of them . I f some one comes on and asks about a 1952 Enfield . I,m not gonna be offended because I only have a 16 sporter and 45 LB sporter and the 2A .
What I am basically asking for is , if there are any 2A owners relatively close to me , that I could possibly check out theirs , for a hands on to compare to my own . Quote from OP ... I would like to view another 2A from the bottom thru the mag port
and again the quote half copied from my OP . I,d like to talk to an actual 2A owner ... Not just some body that says Yea I can fix anything .
Meaning , Again , I would like to view another 2A to compare to my own .
Online , written knowledge is great . Unfortunately I think I need visual / hands on , to rectify my problem
I,m not asking for advice on how to repair mine
I,m asking if any one would be willing to let me look at theirs for a few minutes
If it cant happen , that's no problem

I'm a long way away, but these pics might be of some use to you.

The magazine is an aftermarket one from Numrich; it picks up and feeds well - much better than the original does.

The only annoying thing with this rifle I have is that it doesn't always cleanly eject the last fired case.

Have doubts you will get the help you are looking for as there are people on here that can fix anything but don't think you are interested in their help.

Post some photos, maybe someone will offer to purchase it and save you the misery of trying to fix it.

Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?
