    More junk.

At the range yesterday, had a visit from a little old lady who's Hubbie had passed and she was conducting the old cleanup.
Gifted me a few items, old ammo of various calibers, 3 SMLE mags, and a couple of rifles.
The No.1 is a 1918 Enfield, the No.5 is a BSA, In pretty poor condition.

Nice. Even if they are rough, for the cost of a couple of PTA's, you did well.

I'm sure with a little love they will look a world better and the lady picked the right person to give them that love.

Plus they will keep you out if mischief for a little while.

Cinders, I need more guns like I need a hole in the head.........the only ones I want now are a couple of 30's dates to complete my Lithgowicon collection.
    Henry, I'm a pensioner, so don't pay for PTA's.

First up I will need to contact the Registry and check registration, if the are registered then well and good, if not then I will need to do the paperwork to correct that.

Sometimes my job can be more trouble than it's worth.

Which 30's years are you after?

I doubt I'll come across them but you never know.

I only found one 1939 Lithgow that was accessible to buy when I was collecting them by year. Seen quite a few others but all outside of Australiaicon. One of the harder years to find.
