"The Moogun" .308 F standard rifle

I have mentioned a few times my wife's custom build that I had done for her @3 years ago.
We are a shooting family though my 18 y/o son feels that getting a road bike will be more interesting.
I met my wife whilst shooting handguns she was into air pistol and .22 RF whilst I was more action/service with 357's.

Anyway my wife took up full bore in 1997 I had started back in 1978 at the Harvey rifle club so we each had entry level guns nothing of outstanding price or accuracy.
So fast forward to 2014 and my wife still had her Angel 80 actioned rifle which was very tired and constantly getting things sorted it was just old technology and she was struggling to get good scores.
I had been spoiled by getting what I wanted with regards to my APRS, Savage 6.5 x 284 with the March scope custom stocked + 3 spare barrels, a Sniper T so I did not miss out. (was a big year for gun purchases)

Infact if I just think of the scopes we brought 2 x NXS Comp 15 - 55's and the March 8 - 80 all at the same time it scares the bank ballance let alone with the "T" plus 3 builds.
My wife had not shot F class so I had a quiet word to my gunsmith and commissioned 2 Barnards for her without her knowledge.
Both have custom stocks the full bore has a nice sheoak the Moogun (pictured) was 2 pack and airbrush painted by an artist that does gun stocks then 3 coats of clear.
Since I had given up full bore I gave her my custom ordered T-Mac sights with 1/4 - 1/4 E & W whilst she got a 22mm adjustable front sight with all the trimmings plus dioptres, eagle eyes .3 - .5.

Anyway I had to let the cat out of the bag with the guns to get her fitted for them both and she came up with the cow gun motif which the artist copied why a cow well she grew up on a dairy farm in N.Z and her father gave her the nickname Moo moo as she liked feeding the poddy calves with him so that's the connection with the Fresian bit.
To say her shooting has improved is an understatement some have hinted she should try for the womens state team in both disciplines but she is happy at club level.
Having won silver in air pistol at state level comps she is not interested at competing at that level again and is very happy doing her own thing.

The gun is inherently accurate it is just one of those guns that come along once and a while that it all lines up.
Do not get me wrong there are some very nice rifles at our club but this thing just jelled on its very first shoot at a target at 500M it poked in a 60.06X, infact it shot 6 possibles before a point was dropped.
When it is brought out most of the F standard shooters just groan and say "Not that thing again".............? meaning the rifle guy's.
And that is the "Moogun" in the pictures it appears there are scratches on the stock there aren't any it is just reflections also that star on the Rt side grip is the suns reflection.
