    Enfield Enforcer

I wonder if any Enfield Enforcer enthusiasts can provide any details on my Enforcer serial number 230? I would really like to get some history and background to establish provenance? Also, I have a magazine no 338 and Pecar scope no.495. Are they from the same constabulary as the rifle? Any help and information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve

    Steve,

Rifle 230 went to Kent Police on the 14th June 1974. Rifle 338 went to Manchester Police and Rifle 495 Cleveland Police.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    Hi Simon

Many thanks for your quick response. It would be interesting to know how the magazine and scope got in my rifle? Again thanks for your quick response. Steve

    Steve,
No it went to Cambs Firearms Unit a couple of months after it was started. It now lanquishs in the hands of a friend in Lincolnshire, who got hold of it just before I arrived.
