    75th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea.

    Along with Midway, this battle ruined the Japaneseicon maritime adventure cruise programme.

    Also, on the 1st of May, 1945, troops from the Australianicon 26th Brigade, 9th Division, invaded Tarakan.

    Tomorrow, the 2nd, is the anniversary of the fall of Berlin, to Sovieticon troops.

    Coming up on the 16th is the anniversary of 617Sqn's "Dambuster" raid.
